For centuries, the chemical element cobalt has been a source of stunning blue pigments. Its name derives from the German word 'kobold', meaning goblin. 

Mining is dangerous work, so mishaps and accidents were frequently attributed to these malevolent, underground creatures. When smelted, cobalt ore releases highly toxic arsenic oxide. Medieval miners, mistaking the ore for silver or copper, believed kobolds had substituted the poisonous stones as a prank.

We designed these dice to be easy to read. The high contrast ratio of gold against blue means no more squinting or mis-reading your rolls, even when playing by candlelight! 

This set includes seven (7) dice in total: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, D100.

All of our resin dice come packaged in a 100% cotton fabric pouch, stamped with the Clockwork Arcana logo.
