The unique, silken sheen of these dice is commonly known as cat's-eye. It is the result of numerous thin, parallel inclusions within the stone - an optical phenomenon known as chatoyance, from the French chatoyer, which literally means to shine like a cat's eye. 

Stones such as this are said to provide clarity and true-sight to the bearer. This makes them especially useful for those schooled in telepathy or gifted with clairvoyance.

This set includes seven (7) dice in total: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, D100.

Gemstone dice are fragile and to ensure your set is fully protected, it is packaged in a specially-designed foam-lined box. Due to their fragile nature, we highly recommend that you roll them on a soft surface such as wool felt or a leather dice tray.
